I had such a fun evening spent with my favorite littles last night. My Godson and Goddaughter, Resse & West came over with my Bestie Lauren and we got to hang out, chat, make Valentine’s for Reese’s Class and then topped the night off with Chicken tenders and fries at Islands! Last year I made fun little mason jars for Reese to take to school and they were such a hit… SO of course we had to make something awesome again this time around. I found so many fun ideas on Pinterest and didn’t know where to start, so we created our own little twist.
I picked up 20 different colored shovels at Michaels, Starbursts, Ribbon from the Craft Closet at my house and all the extra little goodies I had stated in the craft bins. What made it even better this year is that the kids helped and got involved, in between raiding the boxes of Girl Scout Cookies!
Here they are, hard at work, cutting and separating by color {they know their Auntie has some serious OCD when it comes to crafting}
They used the shovels to scoop up all the starbursts I had in a big bowl, put the bags around them, I tied them off with fun ribbon, Reese had the MAC going and printing the little tags on card stock while West chased around Mr. D, his brother Darren and Luke & Lola
We used pinking sheers to make zig zag trims and hole punched them, and finished they were! So cute and easy!
We had extra Starbursts so we made a few extra baggies with this fun saying Reese and Lauren came up with
Posing! Duh, this is what my little 10 year old going on 20 does best!
